Default New Stang.....time for the mods

Ok, guys I have my new (well to me) 2004 GT (standing and bowing due to the round of applause) for a week and I think it is time to get the modding started. So, I need some honest opinions of the three that I am about to make.

1. Cat-back exhaust. I know this is usually the first mod to be performed and I have been browsing the forums and different vendors sites to look at prices. And even been listening to sound clips for the pass week. I have narrowed the picks to these, Magnapacks or SLP Loud Mouths. Both gives a great tone to the Stang and both are priced about the same. So, which would you pick?

2. Gears. Narrowed these down to 3.73 and 4.10. Most of my travels are on the freeway. I take three of them just to go to work. Which will maintain a good driveable automobile? Please keep in mind that the Stang will be S/C by the end of Summer. Have to wait for the bank account to recover for the S/C.

3. CAI. I think i have made my mind on this one, which will be the K&N. But of you can suggest something else let me know.

Car Info - 04 Stang GT, 5-speed, 39k on the meter and no mods yet.

I would like to thank anyone that post before hand. Thanks

Magnapacks, 4.10s, and blower. CAI and pulleys are really just a waste. You're better off getting suspension mods than those.

Get gears, and save up for some spray, or a S/C. It will be WAY more fun in the long run

Get the packs... so much more tone

3 73s if you do highway and especially for the s/c

And correct me if im wrong but i think i read somewhere that if you supercharge that a CAI is a waste or cant be used with it? You may wana check up on that one.

I think the general consensus is to ditch the CAI. So, like LSU suggested put the money in the suspension and I think I will upgrade the brakes as well. Traction and stopping are more important.

Other than sound, stainless steel is probably the only other consideration.

Yeah go with slp, Get the 3.73s, buy a K&N filter and just remove your air silencer, MGW shifter.
