The comp cams stage 2 cams would be better, as the op range is 1800-5800, while the VT stage 2 is a little higher. You'll not get the full benefit unless you P&P the heads. You'll need springs and a tuner (this is so you can drive to the shop for a dyno tune).

Guys, I think you should be careful recommending the stage 2 VTs or comp 270s.
He has a PI swap, so he is gonna need to call VT and talk to them about PTV contact on any aftermarket PI cam (or even NPI cam) on his car. The compression is changed and there is the serious possibitly you simply cannot run the stage 2s (or maybe even stage 1 PIs with the big lift) without putting a valve in a piston.
Definatly stay away from the 3s, you simply don't have enough motor to take advantage of them.
