My friend was installing mac Longtubes on 02 automatic GT. The passenger side header wont fit. The clamps on the headers are hitting the bottom of the transmisssion. We think they mite of welded the clamp the wrong way. Is there a special way to get them to work or what.?

 

Are you sure they fit auto's?

 

Im pretty sure all mac longtubes fit auto

 

I think I heard otherwise... you might want to double check on that.

 

They do fit autos, LT install is no easy task.

 

ok thats what i thought. I was almost 100 percent mac fits auto.

Well the whole engine was out with the transmission. And the passenger side header clamp was hitting the bottom of the transmission.
