Default $1200 worth of repairs

I went up to a local shop about a strange noise and to fix my A/C. Well the strange noise was both of my exhaust manifold gaskets are blown($500) and my A/C needs a new condenser($700). Needless to say it didnt get done . Is that overpriced?

Spend $1,200 on a PI swap and get a junkyard compressor if you still want AC.

I would try to find a mustang performance shop to change the gaskets, 500 bucks sounds pretty steep to me.

Hell, a LT install is about x2 as bad and most shops don't charge 500 to put them in....
