I`m gonna change my trans fluid this weekend and plan on using synchromax. For those that have used it, did you notice any kind of difference vs. the old fluid?

I put that in mine. I noticed a difference for about a month, then it kinda goes back to the way it was...

I put it my trans and noticed an immediate difference.4 quarts about 8 bucks a quart. I am putting in a brand spankin new T45 this weekend and I will fill it with Roayal Purple for sure. On the old trans though it did kinda go back to the way it was after a few thousand miles so its no tranny in a bottle but its good fluid no doubt.

 

I changed to RP Synchromax about 3k miles ago, a very noticable improvement...[/align][/align]BTW--Ford/Tremec recommend using 3.17 quarts of oil in the 3650 (per TSB 04-15-06), this is less than the original 4.0 qt. spec and was changed to improve 2-3 shifting--I put in 3.2 qts.[/align]

 

What happens when you put too much tranny fluid in?

 

same thing that happens if u put too much oil in. its too much pressure out on the moving parts, expect leaks and broken parts

 

really? wow that sux. I didnt expect that much damage

 

I used it.. helped my tranny some.. but I think my tranny is starting to take a crap on me..[:@][:@][:@]
