Just a quick question. Gonna change my tranny fluid tomorrow. Anyone know off the top of their head how much royal purple I need for my T-3650?

I think I put 4 qt. in mine its a t45 it can't take more them 5

Ford/Tremec recommend 3.0litres (6.34 pts, 3.17 qts.)per TSB 04-15-6, this is less than the original specification and was adjusted due to reported 2-3 shift issues. I changed mine some 3k or so miles ago and used 3.2 qts.of Royal Purple Synchromax--much smoother shifting,noticable immediately...

Is the Lucas Oil any good for transmissions?

Lucas has a semi-synthetic ATF that I suppose could be used, however they do not state whether it meets the Mercon standards--if you are referring to any additives, then NO. Both Ford andTremec make this very clear...
