Default Need some help timing...

Does anyone have any good links to timingmy 4.6? I'm going to start putting the engine back together and I was trying to get a good link, but the computer at work is slow as hell! [:@]... I don't have the Ford tool or the Anderson tool, I plan on just using the timing marks. Thanks for the help, guys...

If you dont have aftermarket cams the just line the dots on the cranksproket and the cam sprokets. No need to to use a timing wheel.

Yeah, I'm using stock PI cams. About how long does it take to time the cams? I'm doing it on a stand. Right now, it's just a shortblock. I 'm putting the oil pan back on and then I'll start putting the oil pump and start the chains.

That article is about putting comp 262 cams in. You need to time those because they have an advance made into them. Also notice the red sprokets, those are adjustable cam sprokets. Without those you cant adjust your cam timing. Like I said before you dont need to time stock cams. Just line up the dots.
