Bullitt is shot, can you guys believe this?
Ok, I posted a while back about my tranny, well the results are back. The2nd gear syncro is shot(nothing left of it). The 3rd gear syncro isn't far behind. But the good news is, there's no fork or slider damage, right???? NO! They syncro and bearing kit to repair it is $1800 for the tr3650. This is an outrage. For 3 or 400 more I can get a 6 speed from summit. Either way, guess I'm down fora while. Just want to let you all know, if you start having issues where your gears aren't going in like they are suppose to, try and fix it early. But in my defense, I only had the car a month so it wasn't completely my fault, owner prior to me had them well on their way.

Ok, thanks, I'm checking it now. I just found a place called MRT Direct, they have a TKO 600 for $1850, the price of the rebuild kit. That's just crazy. I just wish I had another Mustang to drive while this one is down. I'm stuck with an 06 eclipse now. Yuk! No *****.

you can get a TKO 500 to your Door for 2200(thats everything needed to put it in).
Take your car to a Diff Trans Shop they lying to you. I just bought the Synchro Kit from FORD 2 days ago. it comes in a Kit 1-2 Gears(was like Low Hundred) 2-3 Gears(mid 100's) I got them and couple Axle Seals for like $266. Find a Tranny guy(on his spare time) if u bring him the tranny it wouldnt take more than 2hrs to do it for yah. :-)
For 1K im getting parts and labor installed
Clutch,Flywheel,Pressureplate, 26slpine INputshaft, 1-2Synchros,3-4synchros FRPP 4.10 Gears Soo go somewhere else....

1800 is a rip off. If you want to rebuild it, I reccommend looking at Hanlon Motorsports. I just had my whole tranny rebuild with better shift forks, new seals, deburred gears, etc. for $900. He does 3650s too.
If you want to go the TKO route, you will need a new shifter, bellhousing, tranny mount, and clutch. Dont just look at the cost of the tranny itself. I was looking at that and got to about mid 2k by the time I was all said and done. That is one reason why I went with rebuilding my tranny.
