mods are aftermarket parts you install on the car to improve horsepower and/or drivability, appearance you DONT need a stall converter... just get a throttle body and plenum

sound louder? get a cat back system with a "off road X pipe" the throttle body would increas throttle response... also higher ratio gears called "4.10" will improve your acceleration but reduce the top speed, unless ur in nascar this shouldnt matter. cold air intakes (you will run into them) waste of money, buy a regular K&N filter and take off your air silencer... there are alot of smart people in this forum that will help you. if you do you exhaust you might want to get high flow cats (less restrictive & better sound) the mac cold air intake (because of the big open ended filter in the fender) made a much better sound also. i used 3 1/2" tips on custom exhaust and it has a lower tone to it
you may want to look into the stall converter you might not like driving the car afterwards if it is a daily driver
good luck

If your car is an 04, why does is have the GT badges on the fenders?
