I get 23mpg with stock gears. I have kept everything up to date except the fuel filter that I haven't changed since I had the car (1.5 years) How often does that have to be changed anywayz?[&:]

yea everything is maintained on my car as well except the air filter which i havent changed since I got the car...

and also since my car just hit 60k I should also change the spark plugs and check everything else as well...

damn i feel you man i also get around 13mpg highway and city, but i do dog it a lil bit.

i get roughly 12-14mpg average, and i keep it under 3k rpm too ... its just my constant short distant drives is what kills it. and on the highway i barely drive over 15miles there and 15miles back. starting up the engine takes alot of gas, and repeatedly doing it doesnt help :[ ahah

i just got 20+ on my last tank, that was never going above 3k rpm.

if "under 3000 rpm" is when you guys are shifting... does that mean you hit 2900 rpm before you shift? if it does, that's why you get crappy mileage.

and how many times do we have to see this post? how many sections? every single one? you forgot to post it in the new members section.

I get 13-15 city and about 20 highway... I don't think I have stock gears cause I'm at 2500 rpms at 70 mph.

I get 24-26 mpg shifting a 2k and messing around only like 2 or 3 times. I have stock gears though
