So me anda buddy of mine where in his GT getting some gas at the Wawa when we see a 01-03 GT vert revin his car. I go up to him and ask him what exhaust he has and he tells me he has SLP LM (forget if he said 2s or not) and a SLP catted X. I asked him what mods it had and he said it had a 70mm TB/Plenum w/ spacer, the SLP catted X w/ the SLP catback, 3.73s, a cold air intake, and u/d pulleys. He said it was an 01 (it was 5 speed I could see it) and he ran a 12.7 with drag radials?! With those mods? I will have all of those mods plus 4.10s and VT Stage 1 cams and I would kill to run that time. Does anyone call bull****?

P.S. I went to this garage where I saw an '03 Mystic Cobra yesterday but it wasn't there anymore but the guy said he had a 9 second notch backFox drag carthat he wasselling for 8,000... I drooled and now I want it.

Man, its hard to say. With all the mods in my sig, I would be happy to run 12.7. But I wont call B.S. just cause im not sure..lol

id say very unlikely. i have almost the same mods but an auto and 14.1 was my best. if it was a hardtop i could c it happening

i'm gonna have to callBS on that one but i've been known to be wrong at times. i'd say low 14's high 13's if he's lucky

13.7 - 13.5 MAYbe& thats mostly cause of the drag tires. Give it a shot of [sm=nxsmile.gif]or a SC & your talking 11& 12's, w/s the slicks.

Oh yeah and he had a dyno tune. I just don't see him running a 12.7?

Not even close to a 12.7on a drag radial. MAYBE on a set of slicks with a built 8.8, a massive launch, and some 4.30s
