seeing as how you have the t3650 the 5th gear is .62, your car doesnt have the power to pull through it, my buddy redlined 4th at 140ish or whatever at 6k in his 5 speed
ive had my 92 rs with the turdyLO3 up to about 130ish probably, speedo goes up to 115 so i dont know, and i had a limiter there but i wired in a switch to get rid of it, a LB9 should be able to get there, just take a while, and an L98 shouldnt have a problem either

I seriously didnt think the IROC-Z's had enough power to get up that fast, but I guess so.

I did 155mph with a stock IROC-Z and let me tell you when I say the front was all over the place it was all over, even in that set-up! Very floaty. I did 138 in my stang with stock springs and it was kinda scary. I was okay in the straight but when the road curved slightly on the highway my foot was shakin on the pedal to let off..lol
I got an idea!!!??? Cut your springs like you just talked about and then do 140mph. Post a reply to let us know you lived!!!!!

I've hit about 125, but wont go any higher. Why do people wanna go to 140 and 150+? I just dont think my life is worth seeing what 140+ is like, especially with a stock GT or something, handling would suck going that fast. I could see if your car ran 9's or something and you were trapping in the 140's, but other than that, I wouldnt do it.

I have heard many people saying that Gears actully increase the speed you can go, and i have heard that it limits them(from people that actully have them) My Friend has 3.90 Gears and can only go 120mph. Sooo I dunno.

Its not that bad. I have a pic with the car pinning the speedo, RPM calc said it was 163 MPH.
The car was handling fine, but I definatly wasn't going around any corners.Theres a huge straight strech near my hometown on the river bottom perfect for high speed runs.
Warped rotors though? The last thing you want to do at superhigh speeds is slam on the brakes

the last thing you want to do at super high speeds is stay at super high speeds in a bone stock mustang
pumping the brakes didnt work so great [&o]

well i wasnt staring at the spedo doin over a hundred but it was damn close to 140 maybe 138 139..... but that was in 4th gear, come take a ride if you dont believe me... its stock besides exhaust and K&N filter i believe
