track night
hey guys well tonight i decided to run my car and see what it could do with my novi. I went one time before and it just didnt run right. best i had was 8.89 @ 80mph with a 2.19 60' the track was just AWFUL!!!! its kinda a cheesy track so tonight i thought since i'm used to the car a lil bit i should go run it again and wadda ya know i figured out that my car was spinning so bad i hit redline before i hit the right mph and caused it to short shift sorta. so tonight i figured out how to avoid that and i ran a best of 8.12 @ 86 mph with a 1.98 60'. Needless to say i'm pleased with it. Now its time to get some slicks, a new rear end and a clutch!
**This is all 1/8 mile by the way i think it translates to like a 12.7 or somethin.

RE: track night
Gonna take a wild stab at it and say you were on a mustang dyno? Your putting out alot more than 336 WHP with that setup/time if it was on a dynojet.
Sound like you ran a fairly good time. I was going 8.0xs and running 12.40s, so your estimate is if anything a bit high.

RE: track night
no i was on a dynojet. check these links.
Hp to e.t. estimator
1/8 to 1/4 conversion
this is where i got that 12.7 from. I got the same times twice. One was 8.12, 8.17. It seems right to me
