I'd say a tuner isn't going to do much for a stock GT, UNLESS, you have an auto. I just got my SCT XCall II installed with my gears and had shift points/firmness changed. My car shifts as hard and fast as a 5 speed now[sm=icon_rock.gif]

For under $500, there isn't much power to be unleashed...if you got N2O, you'd have to get a tune also. You'll have to start small like the rest of us [&o] You could maybe get some gears in for around $500 though.

you won't notice a gain with the CAI and probably a minimal gain with the catback. As for N2O for $500, you can get a bare bones kit. I wouldn't suggest N2O unless you got all the safety equiptment to go with it. I went that route 4 years ago and love it, but to do it right will cost more than you $500 budget.
here's my suggestion... This won't give you any HP but it will sure feel like you added a ton of power and make your car much more enjoyable to drive.
1) gears
2) shifter
$500 should get you both including the gear install, the shifter you can do yourself.
