Exaust....for all those PA MF'ers

RE: Exaust....for all those PA MF'ers
My cats were $136 a pop if I remember correctly, but I welded them in myself. So you are looking at maybe $270 for the cats and $230 for the cut/weld in. It is fact that in PA there is an emissions exemption if you drive less than 5000 miles a year, but most shops won't give you that exemption unless you are a regular customeror can prove it with odometer numbers.

Yes, less than 5k a year will get you an exemption. You also get restrictions if I am not mistaken. YOu cannot drive at night, so on and so forth. I would check a few places and inquire about their policy. If you are near York County PA, I could get you a place if you want.

There are a few different exeptions in PA, I know the classic car exeption is the one where you can't drive at night, have to keep it under 5000 miles a year and have to keep in enclosed in one way, shape or form. I don't know the specifics of just the low mileage exeption, but I do know they are separate things.
