If you drive a lot think about this long and hard--despite the common wisdom 3.73s will cost 2-3 MPG at highway speeds, 4.10's 2.5-4 MPG.. Premium is going to be $3.50 to $4.00 a gallon by this time next year (maybe sooner/maybe more)--if all goes well. If the ********* get us into anything more than a 90 second war with Iran then we'll all be sitting in line waiting to pay $10/gallon...

well gas here is already 3 a galloon for 87 octane (in nv its hard to find anything above 91). i herad with the 4.30 gears + you need a new rear end (9 inch, or some kind of modification)

i get about 220 to 3/4 of a tank with stock gears so if i lose 2mpg with 3.73's thats 200 and 180 with 4.10s ive had my gears for a week, havent checked mileage if this is the case, i might go 3.55

I'd say yes, if you are a 5 speed, autos, not so much. That is unless you will ever want to sustain 100 mph for any amount of time.
I haven't had my 4.10's long enough to check mileage, but the rpms aren't toooo bad, and the pull is great.

i also heard if ur a manual wanting to go F/I should stick with 3.73 to keep some top end speed... any truth to this?

I do 100mph everyday I'm in my car!!! I used to do 100 everday on my mornig ride into work. And yes I usually drive 120mph or so for about 4 or 5 miles when I take her for a rip and usually bump it up to 140 before I ease off.....lol I went by a cop on the highway last year at 140 and he never even pulled out..hehehe

Any gear other than 3.27's FTW, and i DO NOT even wanna think about the cost of premium going up....
Hell, i will run my car on straight ethanol if it gets around 3.75 a gallon! Either that or fly my *** overther and jack some crude and refine that $hit!
