I don't know brand names[], butin the past I've had them and they are worth the buy. You might want to choose another mod though before the shift kit...have you done anything to your gear ratio?

Ohh yeah big difference. Your talking about peeling out in 1st. How about chirping in 2nd like the 5spd guys do! My boy does it with his 94 5.0slow stocker with upper lower intake(40hp) Hits 2nd gear with drag radials and it def. puts you in your seat! He had extra clutches put in the transmission when it was rebuilt to handle more torque! But that's the 1st thing I would do with an auto! You may wanna check on your since it's a 98, I think they may have made those auto computer controlled like the 99-04's which can be controlled by a handheld????

transgo makes a good kit, should prolly go with a tranny cooler at the same time (their pretty cheap insurance)

The best way to mod a 4R70W trans is to do the J-mod.
go to www.tccoa.com and read up in the trans 101 section for alot of great info about out auto tranny.
