For me its the simple fact that a GT will always be a GT and a Cobra will always be a Cobra. There are plenty of fast 2vs out there, but a Cobra is still a Cobra. Line them up side by side and I'll always walk over to the Cobra first. But thats just me.
Ya exactly... I hope its not to hard to find a non abused one...

Depends what your overall goal is for the car. I considered the same thing. However in less than a year this car is being retired as a DD and becoming a project car. If you want to do something like that; complete rebuild etc etc. keep the GT.

If you just want a nice DD at 450rwhp; get the cobra.

yeah exactly...i mean i live in the san fernando valley near LA..all u see is benz, bmw's and other nice cars hear..but when i go to a party or just drive around..95 percent of the time when i see kids like 18-21 always in piece of **** corollas, hondas..my parents made me realize how happy i should be with my gt..i think its cool for a young kid to drive a gt mustang. im sure everyone agrees whether its "slow" or not.

There is about 30 other cars i'd buy before i'd buy an 05+ GT. Mustang people will disagree, especially here; but if you're looking for a nice daily driver, with lots of power. 06 GTO. PM sidewayz6.0; he made the switch and cant be happier.

As far as cobras having too much power for a DD, no I dont think they do. I mean you're going to spin for a long time if you hammer it in first, and a good portion of 2nd, but normal driving wont really be effected.

Ya i almost bought a GTO before i bought the GT... I just didnt like it.. Although it was VERY fast and was very comfortable it just didnt have that look and feel of a muscle car! I admire the GTOs but i couldnt ever see myself driving one.
