Default Hard Decision

Well I decided not to get cams. I need to get my car back together. I have the heads back on now and all the gaskets, the new intake manifold with the aluminum cross over, and now I was saving up for cams, underdrive pulleys, and a JLT. Spring is in the air and I haven't driven my car since Feb. 20th and I am getting anoyed with driving my dads V6 vert (even though girls like it lol). I was going to get VT Stage 1 NA cams but I figure why not just save up for a blower this summer? What would you guys do?

lol this is pointless to but forth any energy towards, but hey bro, that isnt quite tech at all.

I would buy rims with that money, if you had those I would then do headers, if you had that, I would do a tq convertor, but hey your a 5spd and im an auto. If all that was done I would probably be losing traction and I'd focus on that.

Everyone would do things differently, I don't know what kinda answer you're looking for. If you can manage to hold onto 4000$ for a blower, and can really see yourself spending that much hard earned cash to just drive faster, then go for it.

I have LTs sitting in my garage waiting for install and I am getting brand new 4.10s and installed for 300 bucks. I just didn't know if it was worth getting the cams or not. Oh and a lot of stuff on here isn't tech so thanks buddy.

i would do a supercharger if power is what your looking for, after the supercharger is on and you feel you want more power, then go with blower cams

Yeah I could easily make 3000 this summer but I'm not gonna spend it all on a supercharger yet being that I am still in college. I just figure why waste money getting an NA cam when I have to swap it out when I get a s/c a year from now.

I would also save for the blower first. A set of blower cam's after that would realllly be nasty.

I know, it's sad but I dream about it at night lol. I guess for now I am just going to focus on the appearence on my car. I have heard so many stories of people saying they regret not getting a supercharger first before they wasted money on so much other stuff. Well I guess shes getting a paint job, headlights, fog lights, chin spoiler, springs, and hood and side scoops before summer. Maybe rims but that would put a dent in my s/c fund.
