ive seen those type of dyno's online and in pictures.. maybe even on tv.. but never have seen one in person... they look very intresting.. i think they actually give a better reading because the tires cant slip on the dyno so it will be alittle more accurate...

I don't think there is a forum member here that can acutally slip the tires on the dyno.

Espcially not with a N/A or centri car.Takes a LOT of power or alot of power + having it come on all at the same time to acutally spin the tires in 4th on diamond tread.

i havent heard too many good things about the typhoon intake, but ive never heard of a power loss, not THAT much anyways. Of course i could feel a difference in power when i used this intake b/c i went from npi to pi, but not really $700 worth.....

Well I will keep everyone posted. But keep it all comin in,Gettin a lot of good answers. I might just make it a field day at the track and run both intakes and see which one gives the better results the old fashioned way. Then get a final tune/dyno. All I know is when I spoke to Professional Products about this. They just kept telling to call Anderson Ford. I know they designed it and all but, THE INTAKE DOESN'T SAY ANDERSON FORD. Professional products just didn't have a clue about it and what works well with it. It just pissed me off when they didn't back their product.

I will say that intake also gets pretty hot. The good thing with the plastic is that it stayed cooler.

true, I haven't seen a Stang do it yet. My buddy running 12 psi on his turbo in a LS1 T/A with wet injection roasts the tires on the dyno. the highest reading we've seen to date is 495 RWHP and 525 RWTQ. I wish I could get my car to that kind of power. Dang wife and kid...

A local guy had a factory plastic intake crack and he replaced it with the PP intake.

He swears up and down it don't run as good as it did either... we all figured he had an air leak somewhere or something.. but if you are getting the same results maybe those intakes just suck
