So what your saying is i am not going to see TWO Black marks after doing a donut OR Brake Stand. ONLYwith a Off the line "Stomp"?

Thanks
Mal
Eh... No, maybe. If you are launching and both tires leave black marks of approximately the same length, then nothing is wrong. But, it is also normal to spin both tires in a corner if you are really pushing hard. Mine will go sideways in second on tight corners. I haven't done donuts in many years, but they usually require two black marks because the car is rotating around the front wheels. I'm not a big believer in brake stands. They are hard on everything (brakes, clutches, rearends) unless you have a line lock. If you are doing brake stands without a line lock then you might be burning the clutches out of your rearend.

Thanks for the direct answer.
I have only done 2 SMALL Brake stands and from what i have just learnt they will be the last.

it Sounds like what I need to do is get me some lower gears as of right not they are real tall
(2.73) I would like to go down one size that way retaining some decent milage but getting some extra off the line. while doing that everything else can be looked at and serviced if need be.

if you have a GT then you have LSD unless it was swapped with an open diff which makes no sense at all...i think your mech is mistaken

He Could be.Thing is when he had it on the lift and he spun one wheel thats all that would spin. He is a Knowledgable guy. He worked as a Ford Mech for quite a few years...but everyone makes mistakes.
If i went and got the rear end #`s off the drivers door where could i go to find out what it has? There must be somewhere here on the net.
