Default Question about 04 GT

How much Horse Power does a 04 stock gt have? I just had some mods installed last night, Eibach Pro-Kit springs, JLT True Cold Air Intake,Accufab 4.6L 2v 70mm Throttle Body & Plenum Combo, Motive 3.73 Gears...And some stuff for the exterior Vinyl Tail Light Tint Overlays(back lights smoked), Mach 1 Grille Delete(3 Piece Design), Mach 1 Chin Spoiler, Black Shorty Antenna, Aluminum 4 Piece Pedal Set and a Bullitt Mustang Fuel Door. Is this a good start? The exhaust will be next!!!

The shortie antenna is good for at least 20 hp.

Stock 260 at the crank, about 220 to the wheels. I'd say you picked up maybe 10 hp with the CAI & throttle body/plenum.

10 hp is being nice. I'd say 8 hp max

Yeah, you didn't pick up much hp. On a good note, you just got a few bolt ons taken care of at once, and with the gears, you will definitely feel a big difference. Whereas you didn't make any big increases in power, you enabled your car to use what power you have.

Ewe dun gud.

Good job [sm=smiley20.gif]

if you want to add some power.. grab some longtubes while your getting the exhaust.. im not sure the exact hp gain b/c they are all diff and it will make the car sound so much better, but you seem like you have plenty of money.. so if you run out of ideas.. just send some moneymy way.

You should consider throwing down the $300-400 or so for a handheld tuner (like Predator or SCT) or a real dyno tune. It will make the bolt-ons you have/are planning really come alive. Plus it will adjust the computer for your new gears so your Speedometer and Odometer read correctly.
