I bought my car about 8 months ago, and I never asked if it had stock gears. Well I never really calculated it, but the other day I was under my car and I looked at my differential housing, and the cover was silver...is that the stock color?I thought maybe the previous owner put in gears and changed the cover? Some onedrove my car and said it probably had aftermarket gears, but I never checked.

How can I know for sure? I know theres a test or calculator but I don't know where to find it.

jack the car up and turn the driveshaft and then see how many times it turns to get the wheels to make one full rotation

ii dont get how that website works..how am i at 5600rpm at 75 mph..can someone please help me lol...when im going 70 mph on the free way im on 2100rpm. is that stock 3.27 ?
