Default New guy with problems.....

Okay....I have been a lurker on here for a while.I am new to the 4.6.I traded a 1978 bronco for a 1996 mystic cobra.....although it needed a motor.I now have it running thanks to you guys.I have found that the answer to most of my problems is on here if I look hard enough. But here is one I cant find the answer to.The stupid anti theft.I dont have the remote.Everytime I unlock the car it goes off and I have to yank the battery cable off everytime I drive it.Is there a way to unarm it or anything I can do.Thanks for all the help guys.

I would think your best bet would be to go to your local Ford dealer with your vin and have them get you a remote.

Go to ebay and get yourself a remote or two for 10 bucks a pop. Then, head over to your nearest ford and have them programed. It costs about 75 bucks for the programing. Good luck!

I can tell you how to disable it if you want but you have to be careful. If you do it wrong, it activates the anti theft and the car will not start at all. I think your best bet would be to just get a remote from the Ford dealership.
