where are you from? Where i am from i see people asking 8-9k for 99-01 gts with 100k plus miles. I wish deals like that were in NE
If thats true then dont be lazy and DRIVE TO GET YOUR CAR...lol. I payed $12,100 for an 03 with 36k miles... I drove 100 miles or so for it but it was sure worth it...
thats a 5k difference........ thats a new motor with 0 miles on it

Well if I do decide to get it I will be taking it to a dealer to have a mechanic look at it first.

i always wondered how you do that. Do you approach the buyer and say "hey im taking your car for the day to get it checked out". Seems like it would be difficult to do. Any tips for when i go to check out some of my cars (soryy for the hijacked thread)

If your a youngin like myself i always bring my dad with me... After we seem to be interested we just tell the salesman that we are going to take it home for the night and just have a longer test drive and bring it back the next afternoon... They have never said no yet.

Having it sit in your driveway and driving it to the store and stuff before you buy it will make it much easier to catch anything thats wrong with it.

if your only 17, don't get a Mustang, especially not a GT or a Cobra. the insurance will kill you if the car won't
