they have the same strength block and same pistons/rods...so i dont think they can handle any more than a gt. My buddy's sixer blew up after a couple months of spraying 100 shot.

.... your posts have been really lacking in tech... you should really open up a shop manual, hell even a haynes would provide you with something better than what you have posted so far....
then take that knowledge and read before more of these factless comments.

As for the v6 having the same blocks, I always believed they had a different block than ours. There are v6's out there running 10 psi tt's at about 370+ rwhp/tq so I am not too certain as to what their limit is, since with fords we do not necessarily have the quality aspect in some of our cars' design...

If you have a v6 with 190hp to the crank and add a turbo at 10psi to get 370-380hp on stock internals and then take a GT with 260hp to the crank and add a turbo at 10psi to get 400+hp on stock internals, I'm pretty sure the GT wont last as long. And the v6 gained almost 100% more power than stock compared to the GT's 50% more power than stock.

Actually I was reading up on S/C'ers for my GT and there was an article of a twin turbo charged V6 that was stroked out pushing 800hp! My jaw dropped. It was turning 9... sec 1/4 mile times
