Default ugly, condensaded, cloudy head lights

My head lights look like **** and I was just wondering if this happens to a lot of mustangs and how to clean them up. If not how much does a replacement set cost?

depending on what you want you can get blueovalindustries on ebay for about 140 you can also go on AM which is a sponsor and get the smoked clear corner headlights for 200ish or you can put a little elbow grease into restoring currents lights a bunch of people have done and there should be write-ups on it.

a short fix that won't make them look new, but does make them look much much better is to wet sand the lights with a very fine grit sandpaper, then spray them over with clear spray paint. It will fill in the cracks and will make it look much better for about 2 months. Then repeat.

i have a 96 and all i did was took some foam cleaning thing from my dad's shop (dont remember what its called) but i slapped that onto the buffer machine and buffed the headlights and they really do look brand new after i spent some time buffing it out. i'd rather save the money and use it on useful performance mods than to replace a headlight that just needs some cleaning.

also american muscle has a write up on condensating headlights that you can look into.

I got headlights and corners for my 97 from Ebay for $130 shipped. They aren't that bad!

I got mine new off of eBay for $75. The companies name is either drautoparts or doctorautoparts. I sold my old foggy one on eBay for $40

performancepartsinc.com has original Ford OEM headlights for $169 a pair. Obviously much better than the eBay crap I bought last summer.

I had a bad experience buying lights on ebay. The angle of them was totally ****ed up and they could not be adjusted to where they needed to point. It was either too high or too low and not in the middle. I know that isn't everyone's experience but for me it's made me decide not to buy important parts from ebay from now on.

If I were you I would try to clean up the ones you have and save for some Projectors and HID. Not only do they look awesome, people say the visibility difference makes you never go back. That's definitely what I'm going to do. (after I get my bolt-ons )
