Default Signs of a failing clutch?

This is my first manual car, and I was wondering what signs I should look for if my clutch is failing. It seems to be holding gear fine, it's just the pedal feels different. It's not as smooth/stiff as before, it's a little looser now and vibrates a tad more. Any reason to be concerned?

Hmm... mine was stiff when I got it in Jan. of '06 then kept getting stiffer. Eventually it made metalnoises when I pushed the clutch down, then started slipping. Two days laterit just went on me. It was my fault for not replacing it when I knew it was going bad.

Well the feel of the clutch has changed, that's why I'm a little concerned. I haven't smelled anything yet lol.

I guess it could be either stiffer or loser idk. Mine was also stiffer because the pilot bearing went out too. The guy said it took him almost an hour to get it off the car becasue it was so seized on.
