Default Lowering Kit

I got an 02 GT Coupe.....sits too high for my comfort and have heard many differnt opinions as to which kit to use.....what is most reccomended and how much more work is there to drop it the full 2in instead of the 1.5......right now there is about 4" in front and 3" in back of gap between body and tire....id love to clear that gap as much as possible but where is there a limit? anyone already dropped an 02 coupe?

2" drop is most I would go. You'll be riding a lumber wagon and be super low at 4"

if not the sportlines then go with H&R supersports for just a tad less drop. that prokit doesn't look a whole lot differant than stock.

I'd say stick with H&R over the Eibach

Yeah, I'm about to lower mine, I've been looking at the H&R super race springs. One question, though, what's the difference between the super race and the regular race? Only a $20 difference...

I have the prokit, I have gotten compliments on here for how it sits. I already scrape on speed bumps so cant go to much lower.

So doing the eibach sportlines is it a simple spring swap or what else is required? and are the H&R any easier or why go that way?

with both the sportline and supersports you should also install shocks/struts and cc plates. both require the same installation (as does the prokit without the extras).
