So I have decided that the SC route I am going to take will be a procharger kit. I have been looking on RPM outlet and found two different kits, one with no intercooler and a 8psi pulley, the other with a 10psi pulley and an intercooler. Will the 10psi and intercooler be too much for an otherwise stock block, or will I have to start thinking about forged internals? I am not looking to get some huge 450hp monster, but I would like to go intercooled in case that happens.

 

with 10psi and a intercooler you should be okay as long as u get a good tune. But i would recomend getting a intercooler no matter what.

 

Or water/meth injection!

 

I am running 10psi on an intercooled, stock blocked GT. Held nor for 2500 and still running strong.

 

Depends on your suporting mods and which blower. With a 10psi intercooled procharger you should be around 400HP.

 

i was gonna tell you try another place for the kit...there's horror stories with rpm outlet (i have some myself)...just gonna say try lethal performance they carry kits with 10000x better customer service.

 

Don't go RPM outlet...... Lethal Performance or Texas Hot Rods.......

 

Yeah, I would NOT go RPM outlet, their customer service is horrible.

 

Thats what I've heard to, which is sad cuz they have the best prices on procharger kit.

 

I did some back search here. I do not wanna tempt bad karma and go with RPM outlet. Which as said, sucks, cause they do have a smokin deal.
