i do the best cruising around 2k my car runs a little rought below 1500 because of the cam anyway

highest gear will give you the best fuel economy but you will not accerate as fast as if you were in a lower gear...

your driving a v8 mustang, who cares about gas milage? just friggen drive the car like you stole it EVERYWHERE you go!, thats what i do, i burn through so much gas its rediculous. lol

third. 1100 rpm cruising in forth is a lot harder on ur bottom end.
