I know what you all mean , it seems like I get more compliments from non-mustang owners. I think and obviously alot of other people think that all needs to change.

I hate that too! Most Stang owners just look at you like they are better. In all honestly, I was followed to a parking lot by an older guy in a Vette and all he did was compliment me and ask me questions about it. It was cool to see a Chevy guy from a different generation and a Ford guy getting along! It's all about the love for muscle cars

I do my best to acknowledge other Stang drivers. But this one time last week, i gave a "whats up?"head-nod to a guy my age in a V6... He shook his head and revved his Stang, like the dual exhaust he put on it was something special. I laughed and revved back, letting him know what it SHOULD sound like. But he was still kind of a tool. [&:]

I dont see too many GT's around here tho. A real nice sounding black GT and i exchanged revs and exhaust info at a red light real quick. And this past fall i complimented a guy on his real nice lookin Boss. I was in the Tempo tho. [&o]

Stangs are kinda common around here now, but 8/10 of em are sixers. 2/8 of em are sixers showin off to the GT.

I get compliments on exhaust sound by LS1, LT1, and other non Mustang owners. Some guy came up to me and asked me why it sounded so nice and I told him it was the o/r H with the Flowmasters. He told me he has a Flomaster on his Camaro. He started it up, and it sounded like poo.

I only owned 2 things that people waved back to.... a bike and a jet ski. Anyone on a bike, boat, ski, etc will always wave. Every now and then someone in a stang will way, they just usually rev up...

Same thing happens with my `Vette. Most folks who drive a `Vette will give a wave, or a nod IF the car is a few years old. It seems that the majority of new `Vette owners are drivers & not enthusiests. My theory is that a nice car, is a nice car no matter what name is on the hood, & I personaly will give the driver a wave or thumbs up to show respect for their cool ride.
