Default Mufflers or no mufflers???

i have a 99 cobra and i want a more aggressive sound from my exhaust...now i was thinking of just taking my mufflers out and making it straight pipes...but i dont know if that would affect me in anyway....and if its better to go mufflerless or just put some different mufflers wat do u guys think???

I would go with some Flows b/c IMO they sound the best. The one chambers I have are VERY loud, but the 40 series are awesome and have a very aggressive sound.

It will sound nice until you get to high rpms. Then it will crackle and pop. Get resonators or an SLP set up if you wanna go with a straight threw design on a Cobra. The SLP set up sound awesome on them.

I got weld in Flows with 2.5" piping for $300 installed and it only took about 30mins. It really isn't too expensive.

I see your in IL. Me as well. I have a set of flowmaster40series delta flow mufflers if you want to buy them. Also I have a LM1 catback for sale.
