If I were to buy the JET chip where does it get installed on my recently purchased 97 cobra? Some documentation I found said it should only take about 30 minutes. True? It also stated it was located behind the passenger "kick" panel. I didn't want to start taking panles off until I was sure. All help appreciated.

 

Plugs into the computer. It`s under the passenger side kick panel.
Why not get a tuner instead?

i have a jet chip in my winter car and didnt see much of a gain. id say it was a waste of $250+

My buddy gave me a JET chip for free so I put it in my car. Made it run like complete sh*t so I'm taking it out first chance I get

 

Jet chips are complete wastes of money, spend the extra money and get a tuner

all it did was change the shift points so now the car redlines every gear..whoopty dooo.lol and the venom400 is a waste also
