I've heard a lot of problems about high flow cats failing. Who knows, maybe they couldnt find a good manufacturer, or dont wanna go through the troubles of warranties and such with them. Just my thoughts.

MAC procured the converters through Catco. Catco told them they will no longer warranty them for MAC....won't stand behind thier product...go figure..so MAC said no more catted systems! Makes sense to me.

I welded in the Dynomax hi-flow cats for my MAC X-pipe, bit of a pain in the rump but less of a pain than having to put on the stock mid pipe when its time for inspection. Its quieter now but it still has a great exhaust tone, and for me the tone is more important than volume.

i was thinking about swapping my MAC o/r x for a prochamber. how different is the sound from x to prochamber? my current set-up is the MAC o/r x and 40 series flows. i get a lot of compliments, but i also hear a lot of good things about the prochamber...
