Ok I Have the Mac CAI and u know when you buy them it says for 99-04 well right by my MAF theres is another small sensor the Air Intake Temp Sensor i am pretty sure thats what it is...but there is not spot for it on the CAI anyone have that issue and where the hell you susppose to put that, seeing as its a sensor of some sort it obviously is important...bc i dont want my car gettin a false reading when its out..just sitting there not in the pipe...

just drill a hole in the intake, and put a rubber fitting around the sensor to make it a tight fit into the hole? idk man. You're the tech, not me.

The CAI manufacturer lied to you. 99 and 00 or 99-01 have the Temp sensor seperate. If the CAI doesn't have a spot for it then you need to contact them and let them know. They may have a revised part number. If not, return it. I believe K&N and others have a one-fits-all setup that will come with plug for the models that don't have a seperate sensor. Those that need it remove the plug and install the sensor.

i have an '03 and didn't have that problem. it was a PITA to install in the fenderwall though...tight fit...
