Default To All Those with Mickey thomspon ET Streets

Ok i've been havin a hard time hookin up at the track lately and i need new tires anyway but i would like somethin that can hook a lil harder than my nittos. Question is how many miles do you guys get out of the ET street radials? I wanna get them but i need at least 10,000 out of them. Is that pushing it too far? I am not one to do burnouts unless I'm at the track and i need to. I've done1 on the street for like 6 or 7 secs since i bought it last febuary.

I'm wondering the same thing. Going to need new tires soon, and with the 4.30's going in next weekend, I'm really going to need something better than the Sumitomos.
I'm not sure, but I have heard of people only getting around 5k - 8k out of drag radials, which really sucks.

I highly doubt you can get 10K if you go to the track with them... I see if you baby them on the street, POSSIBLY getting some life out of them.. I know a buddy of mine got 3k on them, but he loves going to the track a lot.

I would say extra set of rims+tires and keep the nittos for daily driving..

I have had my bfg's since December and they are holding up fine. Gone about 5k and still have atleast 5k left, also gone to the track about 5 times since.

I've seen people that RUN the FRACK outta there MT E/T Streets.... To the point where you can almost see the little metalwires that run around them. The most I've seen was like 6k with a VERY aggresive driver. But 6k for me is like 8 months of driving. Your average MT will be like 180 dollars.... lets just say 200 dollars for two pair..... 400...... divided by 8 months...... Put aside 50 dollars a month!

yea its not that i cant afford it its just that i dont like the idea of changin them that often. plus its my dd and yea i think i'm gonna get a set and use them for the track with matching rims. And just keep my nittos for the street. Chances are i'll run them on the street til rainy season. then get some nitto's for the other rims, although those arent much better in the rain
