Default Question about a clutch adjustment

My friend bought a 96 GT vert with a 4.6 and 5 speed a month ago. Now he said the clutch doesn't begin to engage until the pedal is almost at the top of it's travel. I know it has a hydraulic clutch, but is there any adjustment we can make. My back is all messed up, so I can't really crawl under to check for myself.

all SN95 stangs have the clutch quadrant. Just adjust it like you would your 03.

Heck yeah, you waited a whole 17 minutes...Nonetheless, it's cable operated not hydraulic...From the 1996 owner's manual...
The Clutch
The clutch on your vehicle is operated by a
cable that adjusts itself with a little help from
you. Complete the following steps every
5,000-6,000 miles (10,000 km) to adjust the
clutch.
1. Turn your engine off and put your gearshift
in First.
2. Put your foot under the clutch pedal and
gently pull it up until the pedal stops.
3. Then push the clutch down slowly. You will
hear a click if your clutch needed adjusting
and adjusted itself.
