if your going autocrossing try it out stock, just know you do not have that great of a suspension. watch out for your rear when you corner hard there may be a chance you'll see that rear come out from ya.. Invest in some 13" blanks and 2 pots (mach1 brakes), and some good tires. After that, look into a rear end upgrade (suspension wise) if you wanna keep autox'in. Grab yourself a nice set of LCA's to help you out with possible wheel hop out of those corners, a phb to try and center your axle, if your broke then toss one of the uca's and get stiffer springs in the rear (Thats a poor mans 3 link), and if your looking for more performance then toss the uca's altogether and buy a torque arm to help locate the axle's up and down movement.

Yeah, definitely look into some new brakes. Mach 1 upgrade is the cheapest (for the front). I bet youll burn your stock brakes up really quickly. I toasted mine in 15 min on the highway.

just drive like your supposed to, take it easy and don't push yourself. Most open tracks have a lot of run off, so just be careful of cars. Brake much earlier than your used to so you can get a feel for the corners, don't let your first 2 times around the track give you a false sense of confidence, with our crappy stock suspension your pushing your luck by jumping into an autox'ing event without having first practiced or taken a course on it.
