NO WAY TOO MUCH! You need to buy 4 quarts but you shouldn't need more than 3.25-3.5 My T-45 called for 3.3qts or 6.6pints which is equal to 3.3qts

Sprostang that fluid looks nasty! Mine came out med. brown with 75kmi which makes me think that it was changed before, but yeah yours looks black in that container! I bought a siphon pump that looks just like a grease gun! It's metal and has a 1/2" O.D tube that hooks to the end of it. It works fantastic. I used that to put in my gear oil and tranny fluid. I did the fluids in 10 muntes all together. It holds about 3/4 of a quart and I was able to use my shoulder to push it out instantly otherwise your arm will fall off trying to use your hands..LOL If you have your car level and are filling through your top filler hole then just fill until fluid comes ou the top, unless you want more of an easier shift then I think they reccomend 3.25 like American Muscle said!

after doing alot of research i put in 3L (3.2quarts) of mobil 1 synthetic ATF in my tr-3650. this was during the install of my short throw at around 63k, i assume the car had never had the tranny fluid changed.
