Default REMOVING PI HEADS!!! (HARD)??

I talked to a guy today at the machine shop and said he could port&polish my heads on my 2000gt for 450$ (this is to dissasmble them and reasmble them after port) and install the cams all at once. the only problem is i have to remove the heads and take them to him. then reinstall after he is done porting. IS THIS HARD TO DO? It seems like a great deal i dont want to pass it up. ALSO I have a auotmatic with stock stall what cam do u reccomend for power improvement??

I find it easier to pull the whole motor. If you have access to a lift, engine stand, and air tools pull the engine.
