Pi engine verification

Hi, guys my stang is going into the shop next week and I need to know if there is a way for me to tell if the used engine is a pi engine, like numbers, codes, etc. The engine is a long block from the intake to the oil pan.

It will say PI on the heads. The crossover only has one coolant temp sensor on the passenger side.
