Default SPEC 2 or SPEC 3

Today i was talkin to my tuner about gettin a new clutch and he told me that stg 3 might be a lil overkill but that stg 2 may not be enough. so he said stg 2+ would be a good clutch, but its 411 dollars. i can get a stg 3 for 340. Also he said that a stg 3 clutch is like a racing clutch. its either in or out. is this true? he reccomended that i dont get it because he said most ppl would have a hard time with it. To all those with stg 3's is this true or will i be alright?

I met a guy a few weeks ago who had a stage 3 clutch in a lightly modified 94 GT. We were at the track when we met and that boy could not hook. He had street tires but he is unable to slip the clutch. I told him to ditch the clutch and get a stage 1 for his car.

thats where i got my flywheel from, much cheaper prices than anywhere else i found when looking for my flywheel, also i was going to do a stage 3 in my car and read some posts about spec i didnt like so i stuck with a centerforce dual friction from summit and i couldnt be happier at all, i wont even bother trying spec

i dunno about stage 3 being just in/out type of clutch, i always though it was the stage 5 which was like that. A stage 2 will be more than enough for u and i dunno where ur tuner gets his info from about the stage 2 not being enough for ya. I got spec 2 and there is no chatter and it grabs like a ****.
