i think you can find something a little cheaper with that many miles my freind got a 94 gt in good condition minus paint w/140k for $1300 and i got a 84 5.0 that need about $300 worth of work and is now my DD and completly reliable for $400 if i were you id look around ive seen some w/under 100k for around 5-7 around here

I had a '96 GT with 170K on it and it ran great. It ran better than my current '96 GT with 90K on it.

yeah that seems like a bit too much money for a car that in all likelyhood is approaching its last days.......but you never know it could make it a while

do the blocks on these things hold up? i was thinking about just rebuilding it and buying a set of used PI heads since its already has the PI intake and cams, but that might be until August after i work all summer. what kind of power are PI'd 96-98 4.6 putting down?
