Default car shut off

I was driving home from work and as I am getting off the freeway I put it in neutral and my idle starts shifting rapidly. Next thing I know the car shut off. It came right back on and was fine the rest of the way home. Fuel and oil pressure were fine the whole time, didn't hear any knocks or pings. What could this be?

Sounds like it could have been your IAC...or your tune sucks.

for $50 at Autozone you can get an IAC idle air control valve it fixed my car same problem, if not it was only $50 and you will know your IAC is good for a long while.

Don't think it could be my tune, Tim from MPH tuned it, where is the IAC located?

my car did the same thin, but mine was caused by the vacum hose to the PCV sucking itself shut. I replace the hose and it stopped...until that one sucked shut.

The IAC is located on the front of your throttle body. It is connected with two bolts and has a hose and an electrical connector going to it.
