Default over heating

I have a 99 gt that wil not stop overheating when im stuck in traffic and around town with alot of stop lights if im going 55 or up it stays about 190 the coolant light is on all the time I have checked the following replaced thermostat with same as stock 195 nothing went to 180 same check coolant on a daily basis at the fill cap always full a lil brown tint might need flushed builds up what seems to me like to much pressure in the rad hose but some peeps have said they do that my fan is only comming on if i have the a/c or heator on if there not no fan even at 260 degrees i checked the fuses and relays all good so far it seems like the fan somehow not turning on at the right temp so i replaced the temp sending unit same any ideas i heard somthing about having to burp the system idk i almost give up!!!!

Answer is EXTREMELY simple... your coolant should NOT be brown! Flush that ****! I bet $20 you change the coolant and put in the proper 50/50 with DISTILLED water..... always and ONLY used distilled... and yer problem will go away!

I wrote a whole diag. for you but had to delete it. I went back and tried to read it and see if your fan works with the A/C on, but you type like a10 year old. W T F? Were did a10 yr old get a F'ing Mustang? And how does he know it's overheating?[/align]

Never mind those guys grammer doesn't matter on a forum as long as you get your point across . Anyways check your coolant temp sensor . I work on c5 vettes alot and they have a problem like that . The dirty coolant may have something to do with it . But shame on you for not changing it sooner .
