Usually the more you have done to the car.. the more you can get out of a tune..

I've had both, and different tunes.. none was anything crazy noticable.. it pulls a little harder it seems, but I could just be telling myself that.

Spend the money on a nice cat back exhaust or somethin..

I spent $250 for the now discontinued Granatelli Fuego, which is (was?)a clone of the Predator, and have been quite pleased with the results from flashing Granatelli's 91 octane tune and then tweaking it (bumping the spark advance) to take advantage of the 93 and 94 octane fuel we get year-round here in Florida. My only mods are a UPD catted X-pipe w/ welded in Magnaflows, and a Pro Products (same as Trick Flow) plenum and 70 mm TB.The makers of all of these programmers will tell you that there will be little to no power gain if you continue to use regular grade (87 octane) fuel; however you will be able to do some neat stuff like fine tune spark advance andfuel delivery, turn off the rear O2 sensors and EGR, disable traction control, etc.I did pick 1 to 1-1/4 MPG with the 91 octane tune which takes a bit of a bite out of the added fuel costs, but if you don't want to spend the extra money for premium fuel there won't be much iof any power gain.

You can buy predators new in box on e-bay. Mine came from a dealer. I don't think I would be too comfortable buying a used one.

Diablosport (Predator) make it very clear on their website that they offerabsolutely NO 3rd party support--this makes buying a used one a real crapshoot...
