Default does your gt do this??

Ok coming from my v6 the brake and clutch both go in pretty easy. However I test drove a Gt I'm lookin at and the clutch was pretty damn stiff and the brake, while fuctiniong just fine, was extremely stiff as well, especiall compared to my brake on my old v6. Is everyones Gt's brake and clutch very stiff???

More than likely that's common.

If you think the GT's clutch is stiff -- try a Terminator Cobra's sometime -- that pedal will give you a workout.

The pressure plate in a gt probably has a little stiffer springs due to the extra power. The breaks work totally different. The gt uses a booster that runs from the power steering instead of vacum.

oh yeah it makes your left leg just that much stronger. I have a 03 cobra clutch and flywheel in my 96 cobra and it is night and day difference between my 03 focus SVT. When I get in the focus after driving the cobra my foot just falls down on the clutch like butter.

Try SPEC 3 w/ stop light to stop light citydriving....... To say that you never bogged or killed the engine is just near to impossible! lol.....

Stuck in a traffic jam I killed the engine like 4 times in 2 miles with my friends Terminator[:@]. It got to the point I just left her in neutral and let the car coast.
