Default Concerning aftermarket 4.6 heads

The way I here it from the big manufacturing companies we are *** out:

Me: Does TrickFlow have any plans to address the highly popular need for a set of good flowing aftermarket cylinder heads for the 96-04 4.6L 2V Mustang GT engine?

TF: Not at this time, sorry...

Me: Does Edelbrock have any plans to address the highly popular need for a set of good flowing aftermarket cylinder heads for the 96-04 4.6L 2V Mustang GT engine?

Edelbrock: At this time there are no plans to make these heads.

Haven't got a response back from AFR yet but I know what they are going to say. Very dissapointing knowing we are stuck with only $500-$1000 plus intake manifold options [:@]

is there something wrong with the Patriot heads that you dont want to use those? I have not got any myself (yet) but from what I hear they are pretty decent and seem to be pretty well priced as well.

It would be nice if Trick Flow came out with a Twisted Wedge version that changed the valve location to unshroud the flow.

The problem is with the port design. ford chose to use a new style of port design that is not optimal at all and in order to get better flow the ports would definatly have to change and that would require a different valve train and intake manifold. take the 2000 cobra r design for example. awsome head one of the best ford makes. now for the ford gt they improved it by raising the intake port (went from 115 degree turn to a 175 degree turn) to allow for a straighter shot into the cylinder this new design requires a unique intake manifold and shorter narrower lash adjusters. so if trick flow made a bad *** head it would have to retailat least $4000 who would pay 4 large for better flowing heads?

SORRY BOYS, but I doubt anyone will waste any more time to come out with a head that flows better than having a P&P job. There simply isn't a head that is capable of flowing good. It's just a bad manufacturer design as far as the 2v goes. They will prob. be focused on the new 3v design. Maybe they will have plans on 3V designs for swapping into a 2v motor??????

you all say you wanna buy one of these new heads but when you see the price they have to sell them at in order to cover their R&D i doubt you'd feel the same... I've accepted the fact that I'll have crappy flowing heads=/
