ok i got a 01 w/auto and i keep reading about how much a tuner will help shift points but my car will already hit second and get sideways and it shifts at rl at wot in all gears so any 1 have a clue

 

i guess ya'll know about as much as i do

 

My 03 Gt did not chirp 2nd until i got 373 gears, and a tune.

 

this one i bought w/ 40k on it it'll always spin in 2nd and you better not be full throttle in a curve you may be in the ditch

 

what kind of tires to you have? even if it was tuned it wouldnt be that much of a difference on a olmost stock gt.

 

its got the stock 245 45 17 goodyear eagles it don't hook at all in 1st it turns about 2350 at 80 mph

 

Thats odd, my 02 could get a half rotation when I shift to 2nd when it was stock. Had the standard Goodyear Eagles on it. It is a 5-Speed however... I didn't look to see if you were in an auto or not

 

I've never driven an auto stang but that doesn't sound stock to me

 

Well you may have some different gears in there, I'm thinking 3.73's because in my 5 speed I'm at 2500 at 70 mph in 5th gear with my 4.10's

And usually when people get gears, they'll get a tune too to correct the speedo.

 

guess i cn do th tire /driveshaft deal ,but i ain't pullin the cover off just to see
